Morgan, Hutchins top all finishers in Memorial Run

The seventh-annual Deputy Will Robinson Memorial Run occurred on Nov. 16 in Milledgeville Milledgeville. The winners of the 5K run in the separate age divisions are as follows:

Jason Morgan, who finished first overall, won the overall male award with a 16:37 finish, while Ashlea Hutchins, who finished 20th overall, won the overall female award with a 21:44 finish.

In the masters male division, Clark Walker finished first with a 17:28 finish and Gayle Cofer finished first in the masters female division with a 22:48 finish.

The overall male Baldwin County Baldwin County runner was Hunter Swearingen with a 20:31 finish and Ashley Holmes captured the overall female Baldwin County runner with a 31:12 finish. Marion Nelson won the overall public safety award for being the first public safety official to cross the finish line.

In the 10 and under division, Colby Smith, Audwin Bonner and Logan Colburn were the top finishers, while Aniysa Bruner claimed first in the female division.

In the 11-14 division, Judson Simmons, Dylan Fletcher and Kenneth Stewart finished top in the field. Haley Smith, Kristen Whipple and Samantha Beasley topped the field in the female division.

In the 15-19 division, Josh Myers, Kelley Sanders and Chad Bacon were the top finishers. For the females, Cinda Jack, Tina Purvis and Hollie Salter topped the field.

Josh Evans finished first in the 20-24 division, while Emily Brown took first in the female division. In the 25-29 division, Sterling Deck, Ken Reese and Kevin Franks were the top finishers, while Capal Hadid and Jerri Coody finished first and second, respectively for the women.

In the 30-34 division, Jason Childre, J.J. Arias and Mike Davis were the top finishers. For the females, Teresa Clampitt, Bonnie Burns and Nicki Siblisky topped the field.

In the 35-39 division, John Dove, Frank Askew and Todd Cofer were the top finishers, while Kay Brooks, Angie Redrick and Laurie Gilmore finished at the head of the women’s field.

For the males ages 40-44, Buddy Davis, Mitchell Sinyard and Michael Ulrich finished at the top of the field. For the females, Young Bark, Michele Williams and Susan Nelson were the top finishers.

In the 45-49 division, Keon Lee, David Simmons and Steve Huff were the top finishers. Mary Lacksen topped all women and was followed by Ann Lee and Barbara Taylor.

In the 50-54 division, Walker Knowles, Bubber Wilkes and Buddy Whitney finished at the top of the field. For the females, Brenda Gail Wall took first and Gail Thomason took second.

In the 55-59 division, Russell Sweatland, David Capell and Carroll Allen were the top finishers. In the female division, Autumn Perry, Pat Moss and Sherrill Jones topped the field.

In the 60 and over division, Felton Watson, Fred Goolsby and Richard Graveline were the top finishers. Wanda Aldridge finished first in the female division.

Judson Simmons and Catherine Lacksen won the one-mile fun run. Georgia Military College finished first in the school spirit contest.
